A Photograph and its story

Imagen
I hadn't written this post before because I didn't really have a photo that was meaningful for me or that I cared about, at least not one important enough to remember or to mention specific details of that photo, but now I have it and I can write it. Well, to begin with, I took this photo very recently, really recently because I took it yesterday morning when I was with a very important person for me. This photo shows a road in which I could say that it was the beginning of the trip and I really like this photo because the landscape was very beautiful, the sector where we were was very calm, the day was beautiful and the company was perfect, walking around while we talked was relaxing. I also like this photo because when we saw the place I could see that the person who was with me was happy and that made me happy, after all going out that day for me had the objective of distracting us from the university and seeing her happy. Finally, another reason why I like this photo so...

My experiences learning english

Imagen
At the university I started with English the previous semester, where I learned a little more about pronunciation and how to lose a bit of that nervousness when expressing myself in English, but this semester I have been very busy with other classes, so I haven’t had enough time to practice my English because I give higher priority to workshop. However, blogs are a good way to practice, even if it's a little and it's not too heavy because it's a weekly one, the only problem is how to fill it out and how well written it is. I know that English is very important and it can give me more opportunities in the future, for example, if I want to go to study or work in a country that speaks this language, or even if I just want to listen to a talk in English, that's why I have to improve it, especially the pronunciation and I must expand my vocabulary in English to express myself better. I need to practice it in some way, they always say that it’s good to record yourself speak...

Postgraduate studies

Imagen
Before I entered university it seemed like a good idea to try to do a postgraduate degree abroad after finishing my degree, but I also wanted to study other degrees, so I was very undecided about what to do until my first year of university. There my mind cleared, I decided that I would prefer to start working instead of doing a postgraduate degree because thinking about more years studying architecture would bore me. The only ways I would study a postgraduate would be: if it was really necessary or if there is one that I like enough to say “this is for me”. Anyway, life takes many turns and maybe in the future I will end in doing a postgraduate degree, but now it is not one of my objectives. I prefer to know more about other worlds such as psychology, medicine, teaching, finances and much more, I prefer to have a varied knowledge than a specific one. I wouldn’t like to follow the same line having so many possibilities and so many new things to learn. To finish, despite everyt...

My dream job

Imagen
During all my childhood I wanted to be an architect to be able to build my own house. At that time, I imagined building a castle using columns of classical architecture with a large interior space. After, in my adolescence I wanted to work in something that was related to the area of the economy, that way I could earn more money and travel, in addition, by that time I was already realizing that being an architect was more difficult, however, after some bad decisions I had to give up that dream. That is why I decided to return to my dream of being an architect when I entered to study architecture at the university, and although the first year didn’t go as I expected, this year has made me want to stay in the degree, so I will continue to survive until I graduate in architecture. After that I would like to have a job as an architect that allows me to travel to different countries or earn enough money to travel by myself, so I could see famous buildings with my own eyes and know w...

The best holidays I have been to

Imagen
The holidays I remember the most was in a summer about 8 or 9 years ago in Quillota, a city in Valparaíso in Chile. That time I went with my mother and we stayed at the house of an aunt of my mother named Elisa. We were there for about 2 or 3 weeks, almost a whole month, although as it was a long time ago I don't remember many things, but it was a nice and quiet place. Being there was like being at home, except that the noises of the neighbors were not heard, they were replaced by the sound of the birds. We also slept early and woke up bed earlier compared to a normal day to be energized the next day. Another thing I remember is that since they were a bit far from the market (because it was like a field where we were) they went to buy every month, so they didn't have things that were not essential for the home. Undoubtedly, what I remember most about those holidays was when we start climbing a hill at noon and finish at night, the rest are memories without much relevance, ...

A place I would like to visit

Imagen
When I was a kid, Italy was the place I wanted to visit the most because I liked its language and the classical architecture buildings it had, but the place I wanted to visit the most was Rome. Then when I started studying architecture I wanted to visit this place more to feel for myself what the space of all the places I wanted to visit. Rome is a very old city, even older than the city of Athens in Greece, which I recently found out about and I don't know if it's completely true, but it's still an old city. The facade of the city looks homogeneous and has buildings that stand out to the eye, especially the basilicas for their characteristic cupola. I always imagined Rome as an ancient city without tall buildings, with a homogeneous view of buildings with Renaissance facades at best, but in reality there are several modern buildings around the city, however I would visit it only for its famous old buildings like the Pantheon, the Roman Coliseum and the Basilica of Sain...
